The “Times” New York correspondent reports that the Government at Washington is seriously concerned over the situation on the Pacific Coast, as other States are joining California in an anti-Asiatic crusade. It is feared that unless the National Legislature earnestly deals with Asiatic immigration these State Legislatures will continue their irritating tactics and arouse Japan’s resentment. it is believed that Japan has notified America that the school segregation legislation is the most offensive of all the proposed measures. Add General Cable, THE SCHOOL RESTRICTION BILL. CALIFORNIAN LEGISLATURE POSTPONES ACTION. (Received Feb. 8, 11.30 p.m.) ' SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 8. The Californian House of Representatives has postponed action on the Bill relating to Japanese school children.
