A GOVERNOR’S TURPITUDE. DISMISSED AND FINED. United Press Association, Copyright ST. PETERSBURG,' Feb. 8. Baron Fredericks, formerly Governor of Nijni Novgorod, was tried before the Senate. He was dismissed from the Government service and fined 10,000 roubles, or a year’s imprisonment,' for negligence and corruption in connection with tho Guerkolidval grain scandals in 1907.
