The executive officers of the Northern Colliery Employees’ Federation have had several conferences with Mr. Hickey, the New Zealand miners’ representative. As a result resolutions have been formulated to bring the New' South Wales and New Zealand mining organisations into closer relationship for mutual support, and the Seamen’s and Waterside Unions are also to be asked to co-operate.
