CHRISTCHURCH, Fob. 12.

The Department of Industries and Commerce is collecting suitable, specimens of the Dominion’s products and manufactures for exhibition on the occasion' of the re-opening of the Franco-British Exhibition in London in May .next. Tho Department of Agriculture lias been requested to collect specimens of farm produce, and Mr. A. McPherson, Superintendent of Experimental Stations in the South Island, has been deputed to collect specimens of grain, roots, and other farm produce in the. South Island. The various inspectors of .stock will make collections of wool for the exhibit to be made by the Department of Industries at tho Exhibition.
