CALCUTTA, Feb. 11. Six Hindus wore sentenced to terms of imprisonment for inciting to murder by publishing placards at Kolhapur, containing recipes for making bombs. The Alipore murder is considered to a token of a campaign of assassination of officials. Indian papers demand that severe measures be taken. 'Jf AN EDITOR PUNISHED. IMPRISONED AND FINED. (Received Feb. 12, 9.25 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Feb. 12. The editor of the J.'oona newspaper , “Kal” has been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and fined IUOU rupees for publishing seditious articles. EXTENSIVE ANARCHIST ORGANISATION. BOMB-THROWING AT A TRAIN. (Received Feb. 12, 11.20 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Feb. 12. Rose’s crime, and the throwing of a bomb iat a train near Barrackpur upon the same line on which Lord Mint© travelled when going fpr a few days’ shooting in Assam, are believed to emanate from an anarchist organisation, distinct from that with which the prisoners now on trial at Alipore are connected. The authorities at Calcutta recognise that the anarchist movement is of larger dimensions than was imagined, and that incessant vigilance is necessary. The officials strongly warned the Home 'authorities that Indian anarchist leaders are likely to show an increasing tendency to reside :in London or Paris. The train aimed at was that wherein Mr. Hume, Public Prosecutor, was travelling, not Lord Minto’s, which was specially guarded on leaving Calcutta, lu any case, the outrage is interpreted as a parting warning to the Vicc- \ roy. LONDON, Feb. 12. According to Reuter, the protracted Alipore trial is inflaming the prevalent discontent.
