NOTICE OF ELECTION OF LICENSING COMMITTEE FOR THE DISTRICT OF GISBORNE. TN pursuance of “The Licensing Act. 1908,” I, HENRY EWART HI LL, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Gisborne, do hereby give NOTICE that an ELECTION will be held for the return of FIVE pofteons, being duly registered electors within the said district, as a Licensing Committee for the said District, and that the latest day for receiving Nominations of Candidates will be Monday, the Ist March, 1909, at o o’clock p.m., .and that the Poll (if -necessary) will be taken at the several Polling places of the said District- on Tuesday, the 9th day of March, 1909. Every person desirous of becoming a Candidate must be Nominated by not less than two electors of the District by a nomination paper .as prescribed by Section 105.0 f the Legislative Act, 1908, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before- the Ist day of March, 1909.
