PROBABLE VISIT TO THE EAST COAST.

The lion. A. T. Ngata, who arrived in town late on Sunday night from Ins home, near Port Awanui, states that His Excellency The Governor, Lord Plunket, has received and accepted an invitation from the Natives of the East Coast to visit AVaioinataum, on March 23rd. From here the Governor will proceed to Te Kalia and to different portions of the Bay of Plenty, meeting (Jriwera Natives at Ruatoki. The travelling arrangements for the tour have not yet been finally completed, but the probability is that His Excellency will come up in one of the Government steamers as lar as Tuparoa.
