EFFECTS OF A CYCLONE. WRECK AND DEVASTATION. United Prebs Association, Copyright (Received Feb. 16, 12.5 a.in.) SYDNEY, Feb. 15. News from Nou.mea states that during the cyclone the French ship Jolliette bumped on the foundation of the jetty at Tchio and foundered. All hands landed safely. (Received Feb. 16, 12.43 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 15. The Jollietto had 3000 tons of nickel ore aboard. The Nickel Company’s aerial transporter at Tchio recently erected at a cost of four million francs, was demolished. Several vessels were cast ashore, and the maize and coffee crops greatly damaged by heavy rain.
