ROWING.

POVERTY BAY CLUB. Two single scull races for the'Graham meclai were rowed last evening, when Pritchard (losec) heat W. J. Parker (20sec), and J. Webb (IJlsec) was defeated by C. Winter (13scc). T. J. Parker (losec) won by default. This evening S. Doig (20sec) meets R. Huston (28see), and J. Blakely (28sec) avill row T.- Bristow (45sec). GISBORNE CLUB. A couple of heats in the' Morse Fours were , rowed on the Waimata river last evening. The race between Bright and Stevenson was a splendid contest, the former just winning by the narrow margin of 2ft. G. Puflett had an easy win over Dobson. This evening P. Hamilton meets Hansen, and Rowe and Buscke will row. The semi-finals will be rowed tomorrow, and the final on Saturday.
