THURSDAY COMPETITION. The Thursday competition will be continued nC Victoria Domain this afternoon, when To Ran meets United and Cosmopolitan engages Union. Considerable interest attaches to the meeting ol : United and To Rau, as it is generally understood that whichever team wins the match, commencing, this afternoon, will carry oil: the Thursday championship. The team to represent United against To Rau on the turL wicket at Victoria Domain this afternoon will be as follows:—Armstrong, Bowman, Atkinson, Farrell, Gorman, Grenfell, Gibson, Hallamore, Hlil. Lang, and Sharp. Emergencies: McCarthy and Hooper. The following .players will represent To Ran in their match versus United to-day : —W. J. Scholium, T. Hogan, J. Monk, H. Waek, S. Mill, J. Mack, A.
