The single scull races for the Gramm medal were continued on the /on Ull f^ a Ilver Cast evening. S Doi ,r <2osee) beat It. Huston (28sec) after an easy race. J. Blakely (28scc) won bvf default from T. Bristow <4ssec). This concluded the first round, and the diavv lor the second round resulted as; follows:—.J Scott (24 S ec) v. T. J. laikei (2osec), R. Sceats (oosec) v, B. Lowe <l2sec), J. Blakely (28sec) v. A. 1 ritchard . (15sec). These contestants row this evening. To-mor-row evening S. Ldger (2-ksec) will meet S. Doig (20sec), C. Winter (IJseej meets A. Kirk (17«ec), and J. O’Neill (2osee) will row J. W. Nicolas (9sec). GISBORNE CLUB. The races for the. trophies presented by Mr. C. Morse were continued last night, when the crews stroked by O. Hausen, G. Buscke, and G. Pulletwere successful over their opponents, Phil Hamilton’s, G. Rowe’s, and P. Bailey’s crews. The winners in each race won comfortably. The races will be continued to-night.
