MASTERTON RAM FAIR.
SATISFACTORY PRICES. ("Press Association.] MASTERTQN, Fob. 18. .The Mastorton ram fair was attended by a largo number of buyers. Prices for the best-known breeders" sheep were good, though numerous lines entered by other breeders were passed in. Stud Lincolns sold up to 55gns, paid for a Penrose ram, bred by Mr. AY. Perry. This animal goes to America. The reserve on a ram entered by Air. E. Short was 200gns. and ISOgn.s was bid for it, no sale resulting. Stud Southdowns wont as high as 20gns, for a ram bred by Air. S. R. Lancaster. Flock Romneys, Border Leiccsters. English Leicester?, Southdowns, Shropshires, and Corriedalos will bo offered to-morrow. The highest price realised was one 120gns for an imported Lincoln ram, which was sold to a Melbourne buyer.
