Noble will make an admirable captain. 'The “Sporting Life” slates that the bowling -is doubtful. Mr A. O. Jones, writing to the “Daily Mail,” is greatly disappointed at the choice of the remaining six. It is strange, he states, that the other selectors have gone against Hill’s superior judgment. Perhaps the fact of McAlister being on the selection committee had something to do with his selection. The batting is strong, and the howling Avcak. The redeeming feature is on the side of the fielding. [McAlister was one of the players objected to by Hill.j
