The Premier, in a policy speech, placed adherence by the Federal Parliament to the conditions upon which the Federation was accomplished in the foremost place on his programme. He intended to vigorously advertise the island. With the view of aiding landowners and workers, an endeavor would be made to turn the limitless water supply to profitable account, in the hope that manufactures would be established.
