The search for the survivors or more bodies at the Stanley mine continues.
Thousands of miners’ wives spent the night and day at the pit’s mouth. Later.
The hope of further rescues being made in the Stanley mine has been abandoned.
The death-roll has now been shewn to number one hundred and-fifty.
