The season of pictures and music by AA’est’s Pictures and Orchestral Band commences at His Ala.jesty s Theatre next Monday. Alany beautiful films will be displayed inchuung the finely colored series entitled Christmas from the Nativity to the Twentieth century; a fine lot. of travel scenes and views of such places as the Soudan, Naples, the Riviera, Pans, and Brighton should also prove of interest, and a full complement- of humorous reliefs, so popular with the amusement lover, will be depicted, and mo arranged as to fully sustain the reputation of Air. AA est as an entertainer. Films taken in Sydney ol ihe training operations of the famous athletes Burns and Johnson; tho < r reat scries depicting tho -recent review of the Italian battleships and views of the cities in Italy destroyed by the recent earthquake are also included in the programme, ihe orchestra will, as usual, provide appropriate ■selections to each picture. All arrangements are now complete for the complimentary welcome to bo tendered to Mias Rosemary Rees at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday, March 3rd,' An exceedingly good progranime has been prepared, including itmes from Mrs. Howie, Mr. Johnston .Brown, Mr. Percy Adair, and Mr. Max. Jackson. Miss Rees will appear in three of her own one-act plays, m which she will he assisted by a very strong cast, including Mr. and Mrs. Max Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. 4 rank Kennedy, and Mr. Percy Adair. Mr. Movnoll Foster is arranging the incidental music, and will have under his control a full aiid efficient orchestic. The business, arrangements are being looked after-by Mr. William Miller, and the box plans will be opened at his office at 10 a.m. on Friday next.
