BROKEN HILL DIFFICULTY.
BUSINESS AT A STANDSTILL. ADELAIDE FLOODED WITH UNEMPLOYED. United Press Association. Copyright SYDNEY, Feb. 20. The Government is offering, a £2OO reward for the discovery of the authors of the explosions at Broken Hill during the past six weeks. Owing to the protracted arbitration proceedings workless miners are feeling the pinch. Business on the Barrier is at ia standstill, most of the landlords have received no rent since the trouble began. The South Australian railway receipts have also greatly decreased, ir n d Adelaide is flooded with- unemployed. SEDITIOUS LANGUAGE. A SOCIALIST ARRESTED. (Received Feb. 2L, 4.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 20. A Socialist named Holland lias been arrested at Broken Hill for seditious language.
