TE KARAKA ROAD RACE. - The road race to Te Karaka and back in connection with the cup presented by Mr. D. J. Barry takes place on Thursday, starting at 3 p.m. from Mr. H. Anderson’s shop, and finishing at the same point. This is the final. heat in this scries of races, and for- the .deciding event the riders choose their own course. . the first three to finish in each of the races, and the rider completing the course in the - fastest time are eligible to compete in the -final. Ideal tyres, presented by S. G. Healing and Co., Wellington; 3rd, gold medal, presented by Mr. H. J. Grieve, jeweller; fastest unplaced rider, “gold medal, presented by Messrs. J. B. Clarkson and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North.
