GISBORNE CLUB. The final race in connection with the four-pared competition for Air. C. Morse’s trophies was rowed last nighr, between the crews stroked by O. Hansen and G. Puflett. Both crews got well away together, and it was a good race all the way, Hansen having slightly the better of it throughout, eventually winning by about a length. POVERTY BAY CLUB. The members of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club resumed the races for the Graham gold medal for single sculls on the AYaimata river yesterday evening. J. AY. Nicolas (9see) beat T. J. Parker (25sec) easily. G. AVinter (13scc) had >an easy victory over S. Doig (20sec), and A. Pritchard (15 see) heat t G. Sceats (55sec). The semi-final will he -rowed this evening.. Nicolas is to meet AA 7 inter, and Pritchard receives a bye. THE 1910 CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. [.Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, Feb. 22. At a largely -attended meeting of the Southland Rowing Association tonight, it was decided to apply to the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association to have the 1910 championship meeting held in Southland waters.
