STATIONMASTER ARRESTED.
CHARGED WITH STEALING A CONSIGNED PARCEL. [Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, March 5. To-day Christopher Isaac Denny, stationmastcr at Waikari, was arrested on a. charge of having, whilst stationmaster at Leesion, stolen a parcel, consigned by Messrs Ballantyne and Co. to Mr. 'Cook, of Lincoln, valued at £5 19s 9d. The offence is alleged to have been committed between February and the 16th March, 1907.
