An encouraging report has been received from the Hadley Petroleum Company’s bore, on Carrington Road. The depth is now 1087 ft, and the manager states that an excellent showing of oil has occurred in the last- few days. The _ formation, being now passed through is sandstone, and the manager considers the well more favorable at its depth than be lias seen here, lie gets oil between each of the dill’erent strata passed through.'
