ALi-. Harold Piper,, well known in local musical circles, intends to leave shortly for England. He will be missed greatly in Gisborne, where his services have been freely available at public entertainments. The Mayor, Mr. W. D. Lvsnar, is suffering from an attack of quinsy, and was unable to attend the meeting of the Borough Council last evening. The Minister for Public Health (Hon. D. Biuldo) is expected to arrive in Gisborne to-day.
