LONDON WOOL SALES. United Press Association, Copyright LONDON, March 9. The wool sales opened brisk at about live per cent, advance. Bank of Australasia shares: Buyers 106, sellers 107. The rest are unchanged. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., yesterday received the following cablegram from their London office re wool:—“There was a good attendance at the opening of the sales to-dav, competition by Home, Continental, and American buyers being spirited, and prices as compared with tho close of preceding sales ruled about 5 per cent, higher.” _____
