BOWLING.
GISBORNE CLUB. There was a considerable muster of members of the Gisborne Bowling Club on Saturday afternoon. The green was very keen, and some enjoyable games were played. The following was the result of the most interesting ones : Johnston, Zachariah, Kyme, Connell (skip) 30, beat O’Meara, H. Lewis, Dodd, Witty (skip) 15. Wootton Birss, Paltridge, Hookey (dcip) 24, beat AV. Pettie, Pavitt, Simson, Mackintosh (skip) 17. A match has been arranged and will take: place this afternoon between members oi wTcT Gisborne Club and the Press. The following will represent the 'Press: Farrell, Clarkson, Benzie, Nasmith (sk).
