COUNT ZEPPELIN’S AIRSHIP. A SUCCESSFUL TRIP. United Press Association —Copyright. BERLIN, March 14. Count Zeppelin’s airship attained an altitude of 1720 metres. [A cable mesage last week stated that this ship, which is the largest yet constructed, covered 120 miles in 2-1 hours, running with and against the wind. She was manned by a German military crew, and the trial took place above Lake Constance.] THE WRIGHT AEROPLANE. TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN ENGLAND (Received March 15, 11.13 p.m.) LONDON, March 15. The “Daily Mail” says that the Wrights have ordered the construction of six aeroplanes in England, and Jarrott and Letts,, motorists, are importing four Wright aeroplanes. The first has been offered to the Government, and the Australian Government has acquired the option of the second arriving in England in May.
