SITTINGS AT NEW PLYMOUTH. [Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, March 16. At the criminal sittings of the Supreme Court, Albert Kappelv, aged 18, came up for sentence on a charge of horse-stealing, and was sentenced to three months’ hard labor. John Edward Lister pleaded guilty to the theft of £6, and received 12 months hard labor, and a similar term, concurrent, on a’ charge of house-breaking. A youth, John William Garner, pleaded inrilty to forging a school certificate. He was admitted to probation for 12 months. Alan Brown, a young man, charged with having committed a serious offence against a girl 16 years old, was found not- guilty. In the charge against Win. Davidson, of causing actual bodily harm to John Crockett, the jury returned a verdict of guilty of common asasult, and a fine of £2O was imposed, to be paid forthwith. ,
