A LIBEL ACTION.
A CLAIM FOR £2OOO DAMAGES. (Frees Association.) AUCKLAND, March 16. J. H. Gnnson, merchant, to-day issued a writ claiming £2OOO damages for alleged libel against Geddis. and Blomfielu, proprietor..; "of the “Observer.” The suit is in respect of an article published in the issue of the paper named of the 13th inst., concerning the recent Harbor Board election. Messrs Gunson, Heather, and Craig were returned, but the election was afterwards declared void by Mr. C. C. Kettle.
