WAIAPU SHEEP DOS TRIAL CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Waiapu Sheep Dog Trial Club was continued at Mangakino, Tuparoa station, yesterday. Mr. C. Tylden ,the secretary, and the other, office-bearers, worked hard, but the wet and foggy weather greatly interfered with the success of the day’s proceedings.. The results so far ate as follows:--
Class 1., heading, bring back, ' and hold in ring until judge is satisfied; about half-a-mile distance (points : head 8, bring back 8, hold 6, under command 8). —We Te Wliata’s Far, 28 points, 1; W. Waititi’s Darkie, 26 points, 2; We Te Whata’s Spring, 23 points, 3; A. C. Wood’s Crib, 22 points, 4; P. White’s 80, 21 points, 5. There were 42 competitors. The total number of entries for the meeting is 150, which constitutes a record for the club. The ball, which was to ihave been held in connection with the. club, has been postponed until Friday next, on account of the inclement weather..,
