Club has made a number of alterations in the season’s programme. added money in the Epsom Handicap is increased to £ISOO, in the Metropolitan Handicap to £3OOO, in the Doncaster to £ISOO, and in the Sydney Cup to £3OOO, with the. proportional increases for the second and third horses, .and also in the added money in a number of small races. Ihe distance of the first hurdle nrce has been reduced from 2| to 2 miles, that of the second hurdles has been increased from 3 to 3j miles, that of tlie R.indwiek Plate reduced from 21 to 2 miles, and that of the First Nursery Stakes increased irom 7 iurilongs to a mile.
