SETTLER’S PAINFUL PLIGHT.

—- FALL OVER A CLIFF. (Press Association.) WOODVILLE, March 27. William Logan, a settler and member of the Woodville County Council, met with a serious accident some time on Friday. He was riding his horse over the bkek portion of his farm, which is rough country, when the horse fell over a cliff, and broke his neck. Logan .was knocked insensible by the fall, and lay out all night. He was discovered by a couple of. neighbors about 10 on Saturday morning. Tlien it was discovered that he had his left leg broken above the knee, and was alf.ovor bruises on the body and face. He was immediately conveyed to the Pahiwua. Hospital, where the limb was set., Logan was not quite conscious when the doctors left him.
