BOWLING.
GISBORNE CLUB. A game in the A section of the competition for the President’s Champion Cup in connection with the Gisborne Bowling Club took place yesterday afternoon between. Messrs J. J. Martin and Kyme, and after a very even contest, resulted in favor of the former by five points. Except on one head,-The scoring was surprisingly level. Chi the 17th head the scores were 11 all. On the TBth Martin got in four. Three singles were scored oil the three remaining heads, two of them by Martin and one. by Kyme, making the final score: Martin 17, v Kyme 12. . Martin has to play one more game, with E. Williams, to decided who is to be top of the section.
