THE MAYORALTY
[To The Editor.]
Sir Xt is street-corner talk that Mr. Miller is going to Sydney in order to avoid .addressing a public meeting. 1 think it only right that he should make known his views so that ratepayers would know how to treat him in the matter. For a man to offer himself as Mayor and then “do a skoot” is .a, very thin spay, to iny way of thinking. _ 1 don’t want to hear clap-trap or sidewinds; it must be Lysnar and Miller only—l am, etc., “NEW ZEALANDER.”
