At the Canterbury College Amateur Athletic Club’s sports on Satruday afternoon, Guv Haskins, from scratch, established a New Zealand record in the 1.000 yards inter-club handicap, liistime being 2min 24 l-ssec, which is l-osec better than the record of 1890.
