A DISPUTE SETTLED. . ARBITRATION - AWARD. United Press Association —Copyright. (Received April 4, 4.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 3. Lord Cromer, , arbitrating between the Midlands Railway Company and their employees, has decided that eleven hours shall constitute a standard day, that overtime and Sunday work are to be paid for at a rate and a quarter. Mr. Richard Bell, secretary <jf the Railway Servants’ Society, announced that though the men had not got all they asked for, the concessions were very substantial.
