Thousands of visitors to Naples welcomed ex-President Roosevelt; The German. Consul-General presented a letter wherein the Kaiser hoped to see lnm at Berlin on his return from Africa. A bouquet of black, white, and rod ‘ carnations accompanied the letter. [Black, white, and red are the German national colors.] . . Mr* R qqsevelt asked the-Consul to ■ present his respects to the Emperor and. to sav that he certainly would visit Berlin and tell -His Majesty all about liis experiences in Africa. Mr. Roosevelt received ..from England hundreds ol letters and telegrams.
