[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 13. The New Zealand University tournament was practically concluded to-day, only three finals in the tennis matches remaining to he played. In the ladies’ doubles two Canterbury College, teams will play off at Christchurch. The finals of the combined doubles and men’s doubles will be decided to-mor-row afternoon.
In the final of the ladies’ singles Miss Reeve, Victoria College, beat Miss Grace, Canterbury College, 12—10. In the semi-finals of the ladies’ doubles Misses Cro«s and Jameson, Canterbury, beat [Misses Jlaslett and Woodbo use, Otago, 9—l; Misses Grace and Paterson, Canterbury, beat Misses Mooro and Edwards, Otago. 9 —5. In the semi-finals of the combined doubles, Jennings and Miss Grace, Canterbury, boat Richardson and Miss McLaughlin. Auckland, 6 —o, 6—l ; Gower and Miss Edwards. lege, 6—o, 6—l. In the final of the men’s singles, Jennings, Canterbury, beat Moody, Otago, 6—o. 7—5.
In the semi-final of. the men’s doubles Jennings and Wilding, Canterbury, beat Smith and (leghorn, Victoria Colleg: . 6 0.6--" : Bundle and Gower, Otago, beat Rich-ml on and Taylor, Auckland, 6—4, 6 —2.
