Preliminary arrangements for the visit of a football team from Sydney University have been made by the New Zealand University Coigmittoe. There will he a match with Otago University at Dunedin, and one with Victoria College at Wellington. If possible, the visitors will also play Auckland University College, at Auckland. WEST END FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual meeting of the above club was held in the To Ran College last evening., Mr. IV. McGullio in the chair. Owing to the short notice given there was not a Targe attendance. The secretary, Mr. 0. TL Olsen, presented the report and balance-sheet, which were of a very satisfactory nature, showing that the club held a credit balance of £B. The report and balance-sheet were unanimously adopted. Correspondence was -received Irom the Poverty Bay Rugby Union, stating that the district scheme had been abolished. It was decided to continue the club under the new regime. file following officers were elected:—

Patron, Hon, J. Carroll j president, Mr. A. F. Kennedy; vice-presidents, Messrs G. K. Paslcy, D. J. Barry, D. Hepburn, AV. 0. Sheet, J. E. Newton, J. Colley, H. J. Poacocke, R. Robertson, VV. L. File, Revs. F. AV. Cliattcrton rod Wi Paraire; vice-president oi Poverty Bay Rugby Union, Mr. C. K. Pasley ; delegates to Poverty Bay Rugby Union, Messrs G. K. Pasley and A. Pritchard.' The election of the other officers were held over till next meeting, Weclncsdnv, April 21st. A few members were elected.
