GISBORNE CHAMPION TOURNEY

Play in the third annual billiard championship competition began .at the Victoria Billiard Saloon last evening. There are nine competitors, each of ‘whom has to play all the others. The trophy competed for is a silver challenge cun, with a gold medal, the latter ’to be retained by ' the winner. Prizes are also offered for the runner-up and for the fastest time. Last bvening F.
