NOXIOUS WEEDS
In addition to the railway reserves, the large -areas of Crown waste lands And native lands are in many instances prolific nurseries of the thistle and other noxious weeds. It is absurd and useless for the Government to insist on farmers keeping noxious vegetation off their lands, while they allow huge areas of their own land, situated ip close contact with their holdings to become territory f<3r the unchecked propagation of the pest.—“ The Dominion.”
