The Socialists and Labor Federation proclaimed a general strike at Buenos 'Ayres as a protest against May Day incidents. They demand the resignation of the prefect of police. The work of the port is paralysed, the strikers holding up the trains. Two thousand troops have reinforced the garrison. There is .a good deal of fighting m the streets. (Received May 5, -10 p.m.) BUENOS AYRES, May 5. There' are now over 200,000 strikers in Buenos Ayres.
