THE AMY BOCK GASE.
ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE.

DUNEDIN, May 7. At the Police Court this morning Amy Bock was charged withi having made a false declaration to the Registrar of Marriages at Pomahaka, with having obtained £4l from Miss Henderson by means of false pertences, and with having obtained £lO from B. S. Irwin by means of false pretences. Accused pleaded guiltv and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. She said it was no use expressing regret, as she would not be believed.' She wished to thank the press for remembering, notwithstanding what she had done, that she was a woman. Bail was refused.
