SATURDAY’S PLAY
Although nothing was down on the official 'programme for Saturday afternoon, there was a very large attendance at- the links, when delightful weather made the conditions for play all that could he desired. Such - a large
..number of players were out that the links were almost overcrowded, and a good deal of congestion occurred at times. The best round for the afternoon was played by Noel Bull, a promising young colt, who completed the ful} course in the good score of 88. As usual, there were a large number of lady players present, and afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. Traill and Miss deLautour, the captain and secretary respectively of the Ladies’ Club.
To-morrow afternoon the ladies play the second round of IS holes to qualify for handicaps to -compete for the L.G.U. prizes.
