The “Daily Mail” has interviewed Sir Robert Stout, who said that the children secularily trained in New Zealand produce only half the criminals, in proportion to numbers, as those trained in denominational schools. He added: “The attitude of-the English Nonconformists and Liberals amazes me. They seek to disestablish the church, and yet seek to maintain the •sectarian school as the children’s church.”
