CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY
A most interesting game in tlie championship tournament was played at the Victoria Saloon last night, when E. Austen,' last-year’s winner, met L. McGohigal. The game was most evenly contested, and after 74 minutes’ play, resulted in a win for Austen by the narrow margin of ten points. The winner’s best breaks.were 35, 21, and 19, while McGonigal’s best were 28, 23, and 20. The tournament will be continued this evening, VP. Pascoe” meeting E. Austen, at 7.30 p.xn. ?-:?•
