Akroyd has been appointed a member of the Assessment Court for Cook, Waiapu, and Waikohu Counties and tho Gisborne Boroiigh. The members of tho Industrial Arbitration Court, Mr. Justice Sim and Messrs S. Brown and W. p. McCullough, are passengers for Gisborne from Auckland by the due here this morning. .. :v:.
