Mails for the Commonwealth of Australia, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, also South Africa, Continent cl Europe, and United Kingdom, per Manuka, close at Wellington on Friday, 14th inst., at 2.30 p.m. Mails for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Monte Video and Teneriffe, per Kia Ora, now close at Wellington on Thursday, 13th mst., at 10 a.m. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and Te Oneroa, per Invercargill, close at Invercargill on Thursday, 13th mst,, at 7 a.m.
Money orders for places beyond New Zealand close 1 hour 30 minutes before the closing of the ordinary mail. In regard to places within the colony, money orders and registered letters close 1 hour, and parcel post parcels oU minutes before the ordinary mail. W. H. RENNER, Chief Postmaster.
