The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow: Moderate to strong southerly winds are probable over the North Island, with fair weather in all parts except on East .Coast, where conditions should, how-, over, soon improve. Barometer rising steadily over the North Island; westerly winds increasing over the South Island for a probable change, and a falling barometric pressure in the southern districts.
