PARIS, May 12. The French Chambers re-assembled yesterday. The Socialists introduced a postal interpellation, and alleged that M. Clemenceau, the Premier, had deceived the officials by refusing M. Simyan’s dismissal. M. Barthou, Minister of Public Works, replying, denied the promise of dismissal. Government, lie said, would be impossible if trade unions of iState servants -were allowed to become stronger than the representatives of the nation. Tho debate was adjourned.
A meeting of 10,000 postal officials bitterly denounced the adjournment, and voted for a strike, which began immediately. .
