- CHRISTCHURCH, May 13. With reference to a recently published statement as to the contemplated departure of His Excellency the Governor from the Dominion somo months prior to the expiry of his term, the Governor has intimated to the Prime Minister that there is no foundation for the statement. His Excellency has not even considered the question of the date of his departure from New Zealand.
