FREEZING WORKS SPORTS.
MEETING OF OTHMITTEE, Tho freezing works sports committee held a meeting on Saturday night m connection with the recent sports meeting. The secretary announced that alter all expenses had been paid there was a considerable credit balance. Messrs Spiers, Brown, and Osborne wore appointed trustees to take chai ge of the surplus until next years meotinir. Votes of thanks were passed to aif tiie officials and' others who had helped to make the gathering, a succ<?s: also to the donors of prizes, of whom a list is appended. The committee have decided that on the occasion of the inaugural meeting they/would celebrate it by hawing their photograph taken in a group. During the evening presentations were made to the secietarv (Mr. M. Osborne) and the treasurer (Mr. P. Bowler) as marks of appreciation of their efforts on behalf oi the sports meeting. .
